How we Work
Citizen Science Approach
We work with communities to identify and tackle Health, Environment and Education issues that affect us
Admission
For post-secondary education into local and foreign schools for certificate and degree programs up to PhD, KELIC prepare potential students for placement. Activities include Standard Tests prep and registration
Scholarships
KELIC prides in provision of scholarships and connecting students to a wide range of funding opportunities for education and career development purposes.
Mentoring & Internships
KELIC work with other organizations to provide requisite skills through internship programs in Nigeria and other countries. Children are mentored to build capacity in various areas of endeavor.
Counseling
Because a lot of students come to our learning center timid and ill-prepared to face the future, KELIC provides counselling services providing soft/communication skills and academic and career guidance for youths especially school drop outs.
About Us
Founded in October 2012, KELIC is short for Keene Learning and Information Center and we are incorporated as KELIC Education Consult to provide educational services. Also, the Federal Capital Education Secretariat, Department of Mass Education, regulate all Adult and Non-Formal programs at KELIC. We focus on mentoring students, and other community members, to identify issues of Education, the Environment and Health for their projects.
