About KELIC

Founded in October 2012, KELIC is short for Keene Learning and Information Center and we are incorporated as KELIC Education Consult to provide educational services. Also, the Federal Capital Education Secretariat, Department of Mass Education, regulate all Adult and Non-Formal programs at KELIC. We focus on mentoring students, and other community members, to identify issues of Education, the Environment and Health for their projects. One of our arms is the KELIC Education Center located in Garki, Abuja for afterschool programs and Adult and Non-formal education. Our epic Butterfly Garden is located at this Center. Second is ‘Mentorship for Leadership’ programs that exist in public school in Abuja. We also have School Clubs running alongside the mentoring program in the schools – Environmental Club/Climate Action Clubs, School-Related Gender Based Violence (SRGBV),Readers and Chess Clubs.
