KELIC exist is to attack aristocracy that favor social injustice. We emphasize an inclusiveness that provides opportunity for all children to have equal access to, at least, basic education. At KELIC, we challenge convention to destroy the class walls that separate a critical mass of poor students from the few kids of rich homes through diverse unifying activities and programs. We are optimistic that injustice in Africa, and other parts of the world, can be defeated by education that foster systems and critical thinking, education that is based on the tenets of sustainability. When gaps are closed, kids become smart with adaptive capacities to face the challenges of 21st century. We prepare both vocational and academic kids in underserved communities to go beyond basic to senior secondary levels that equip for post secondary education with great leadership skills. KELIC see universities like MIT, Cambridge, Stanford, Harvard, Caltech, ICL, UCL and National University Singapore as potential learning environments for such kids.
